A retired police dog sheds tears of joy when he reunites with his former handler, expressing deep emotional connection and happiness

Get some Kleenex ready since reading this heartbreaking tale will certainly make you weep. When a retired police dog was reunited with his old boss, it was an emotional moment.

In Xichuan, Henan Province, central China, an eight-year-old German shepherd named Wang Wang serves as a sniffer dog at a security checkpoint.

After retiring and locating a permanent residence where he may spend the remainder of his days, he will depart from his organization in June 2019.

Last month, while on patrol close to Matan Wangwang's home, a police officer who had served as Wangwang's manager decided to surprise the dog by paying him a visit.

Wang Wang is approached in a recent video that was published on the Xichuan police Douyin account, the Chinese version of TikTok officers.

Wang Wang hurried out the front door after hearing the agent's call and into the veteran agent's arms.

As his former owner grieved at his side, Wang Wang kissed his legs.

Wang Wang accompanied his manager the entire time the patrol was making their way back to their vehicle.

It stated, "Wang Wang's hair greyed, but he was full and plump." Friendship goodbyes are never easy.

Internet viewers' hearts began to melt as soon as they saw the heartwarming reunion of the loyal canine and the dog trainer.

"Dogs are faithful friends, treat them right!" was one person's reply.

The commentator said, "You can tell Wangwang misses his handler."

Why Wang Wang and his agency couldn't coexist was a common question following the touching reconciliation.

The Xichuan police said, "Police dogs are typically fed at the training center, but our officers cannot spend their time playing or exercising with retired dogs."

In my opinion, they'll receive greater care at home than in a training facility.
